| About | Stone Arch Bridge is an ancient stone bridge at Saint Anthony Falls in downtown Minneapolis. It is made of native granite and calcareous and has a length of 2100 feet by 28 feet long. The tower was built-in 100,000 tons of granite and twenty-three arches constructed of calcareous. It is the only arched bridge made of stone on the entire Mississippi River. It provides a panoramic view of st Anthony falls and is regarded as a landmark in national civil engineering. The Stone Arch Bridge Festival takes place in June and offers more than 250 artists and musicians. The bridge is one of the best places to enjoy St.Anthony Falls's view. |
