| About | International Civil Rights Center & Museum is the site of a non-violent protest in the civil rights movement and formerly housed the Woolworths, situated in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States. Four students from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University are the founders of this place. The four students were Joseph McNeil, Franklin McCain, David Richmond, and Ezell Blair, Jr. (now Jibreel Khazan). The museums aim to ensure that history remembers the actions of the A&T Four, those who joined them in the daily Woolworths sit-ins, and others around the country who took part in sit-ins and the civil rights movement. In addition, they offer Cultural backgrounds through dynamic exhibitions, education, and special events. |
