| About | Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art is an art museum situated on the campus of the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. The original building was built by Ellis F. Lawrence, UO dean of Architecture & Allied Arts. The museum was designed to house the Murray Warner Collection of oriental art more than 3,700 works of art given to the university by Gertrude Bass Warner. They recognize their visitors' different learning styles and the needs of a multigenerational and diverse audience. The only academic museum in Oregon accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. |
