About	American Sign Museum is home to the history of American signage over the last century. The Museum archives, preserves, and displays a collection of signs. It also shows the equipment utilized in the design and manufacture of signs. It contains a collection from the late nineteenth century to the 1970s. Signs from the late 1800s are hand-painted and gold leafed. Over 200 signs and other objects are displayed at the Museum, and over 3,800 items are cataloged. This place can be an exciting classroom to learn about language arts, history, and design. Teachers and group leaders have used the Museum to create lesson plans, reading lists, art projects, tours, and scavenger hunts. They also offer their own curriculum-based programs. They offer free admission for three children(12& Under) per paying adult.
