About | Aurora History Museum is a community-based cultural center featuring changing history, natural history, culture, and fine and decorative arts exhibits. Aurora History Museum was opened in 1979 in a historic building with two small galleries and an office. In 1990 The Museum moved to its current location and re-opened in 1991. They collect and exhibit artifacts and documents about the history of Aurora and Colorado. City of Aurora, Aurora Museum Foundation, and the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District funding for the Museum.
