About | The Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson is one of the country's leading art museums. The home is the state's oldest official residence, serving as an educational facility and a traditional attraction for Augusta City, Georgia State, and the Nation. Historic Augusta, Inc is owned and operated the residence and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2008. Their qualified, highly skilled docents guide all home tours, and unlike many museums in-house, non-flash photography is accepted and encouraged. There are fourteen rooms decorated in the Victorian age of the 1860s, a new service house with kitchen and carriage house. |
