About	Ramen Yamadaya is an unassuming little ramen shop in Torrance wedged between a skate shop and the 405 Freeway. The place is small with about six tables, and bars seating opens to the kitchen. They have high chairs for the little ones. Ramen Yamadaya's version of tsukemen includes cold noodles with your choice of toppings and a bowl of warm dipping sauce. Jin Yamada, the owner of Ramen Yamadaya, is most excited about his tsukemen: thick, chewy noodles served with a tonkotsu-based dipping sauce on the side. Ramen Yamadaya serves some of the famous Tokyo variants, such as tonkotsu shoyu ramen, which combines tonkotsu broth with soy sauce and is flavored with black sesame paste.
