About	Black Star Canyon Trail is a well-renowned hiking area in Santa Ana. The park is a heavily trafficked 6.8-mile trail out and back. The hiking can be accessed off Highway 241 at Santiago Canyon, and after half a mile, you turn left onto Silverado Canyon and then left onto Black Star Canyon Road. The falls drain just three square kilometers of land, so high flow is usually only during the rainy season, which is 6.5 miles round trip and 18.9 miles from downtown Santa Ana, CA. Visitors can explore the beautiful array of wildflowers and interesting rock formations nearby mountains. Black Star Canyon Trail has free parking to visitors.
