About	Mount Rubidoux is one of the best hiking areas in Riverside. The park has a 2.5-mile round trip with various trails. The trail is easy to navigate as it is up a paved path. It has a stunning hike that takes you through several different plants and flowers, massive boulders you can climb, and even the mountain's historical markers. The hill was named for the rich ranchero Louis Rubidoux, one of its owners in the 19th century. With various hiking trails, the historic Peace Tower, and the famous, they stretch over 160 acres. Mount Rubidoux Park has the natural terrain for dog running, hiking & views, centered around a giant white cross at the summit.
