| About | Forest Hill Park is one of the popular public meeting areas in Richmond. The park boasts a newly restored lake and a network of more than 3 miles of multipurpose trails providing connections to nearby communities and the James River. It is a popular and historic 105-acre urban park modeled on Scottish links and retained its popularity as one of the most challenging golf courses. Its curving hills are famous for winter sledding, and a farmer's market is held in the park on Saturday mornings during the summer months. Forest Hill Park also features picnic benches, a playground, lots of grass and trees. It has been home to the South of the James Market, a farmer's market held on Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm. |
