| About | Forest Park is one of the US's most extensive urban forests. It covers more than a 5000-acre wooded area with more than 80 miles of parks, forest roads, and fire paths. It has more than seven miles off the Tualatin Mountains 'eastern slope. The 30-mile Wildwood Trail in the forest park is part of the 40-mile loop network that connects the forest park with pedestrian and bike routes along the Columbia to Gresham. It covers more than 80 kilometers of roads, fire lanes, and woodland highways. All forest park visitors were used and enjoyed to preserve and develop 47 miles of soft-surface trails. The trails and bridge are well maintained. |
