| About | Cherokee Marsh Conservation Park is wetlands that cover 2,000 acres at this preserve with a trail and boardwalk for visitors. It is the largest wetland in Dane County. The park was used by thousands of students each year for environmental education. There are 2.6 miles of trails in the North Unit and a boardwalk, and two observation decks. You can walk over the marsh in several areas of the park. There are so many beautiful spots to sit at and enjoy the various views of the marsh. Visitors can explore the scenic views of prairie, marsh, and river. Shorter loop options are available in the park. |
