| About | Clapp Park is an open space of 93 acres and a historic site. You can enjoy the quiet walk or an enjoyable family experience, and the arboretum provides a variety of sports, festivals, tours, and workshops for people of all ages and backgrounds. Clapp Park is a great park with a community center, botanical gardens, a small lake, lots of trees and plants. Their 1,18-mile trail is open to everyone. There is a wide range of birds nesting on their property and others migrating through it. During the winter months and during August and September, the playa lake in the arboretum is home to several waterfowls. It has a community pool and a massive football and soccer practice/play. There was plenty of space to roam and lots of shade. |
