The walls reach 910 m (3,000 feet) high, making them a popular hiking and rock climbing destination. Scenic Drive is 12.5 miles long when you drive straight ahead and about 13 miles long when you pull off at various overlooks. It includes a paved 13-mile path, scenic loop road, visitor center, and day-use area.
