About	Pyramid Mountain Visitors Center has rugged trails, hills, trees, rock outcroppings, and wetlands. For more than ten thousand years the site was used for shelter, hunting, fishing, and gathering by the Lenape Indians. The mountain is 934 feet which provides a stunning view of the New York City skyline. In the Tourist center, visitors can experience several immersive educational displays about the area's heritage and wildlife featuring Indians from the Lenape and early European settlers. It is a perfect hiking spot, and the visitor center is ideal for children and adults. The Highlights of fall programs include several popular annual events. Visitors can also enjoy the guided evening hikes and canoe paddles. Pyramid Mountain Visitors Center also features many more naturalist-led programs for all ages and interests.
