| About | Cape Fear River Trail is a park located in Fayetteville, NC. The 10-foot wide well maintained path is used for walking, jogging, and cycling. Along the trail, there are over 1,000 feet of boardwalk that runs through the marsh and wetlands. Cape Fear River Trail is an excellent place to take your family or a friend. The nature area is full of 150 species of birds and 700 species of plants and trees. A unique combination and variety of hardwood trees can be found in the River Trail forest. Visitors can see the Frogs, lizards, and turtles, and the occasional deer in this area. The trail is designated as part of the East Coast Greenway. Cape Fear River Trail is also accessible on weekends. |
