| About | William B. Umstead State Park is a 5,500 acre densely wooded oasis in Raleigh intertwined with nearly 20 miles of hiking trails and 13 miles of multi-use paths. Visitors can reserve the picnic grounds that surround shelters with fireplaces. The trails are clean and well maintained. Dogs on leashes are allowed. For overnight group events, the historic Maple Hill Lodge can be booked. During the summer, tent camping is available. |
