| About | Palo Duro Canyon State Park is canyon city's second-largest park, with over 30 miles of the hiking area. Visitors can see lots of wildlife along the trails and beautiful geological formations. Palo Duro Canyon State Park has an excellent visitor center where you can get a lot of information about the geology of the area and the history of its inhabitants. The park has around a 5-6 mile round trip trail that takes you along a path from the Canyon floor to the top edge of Canyon's downtown. Palo Duro Canyon State Park also accommodates bicycles and horses. The camping and parking areas are suitable for day trips, overnight tent camping. |
