About	Palmetto Golf Course was designed by Dick Wilson, who has created many other courses in the area. The main course features are 18 holes, Par 70, length 6648 yards at the slope 128. Palmetto Golf Course receives its name from the beautiful palmetto trees that line the fairways and wandering waterways. Although they join the scenery, the trees increase as a challenging element so that the golfers can hit shots. Water risks come into play on ten holes of the course, including the famous signature hole, a 435-yard par-4. There are also sand bunkers strategically located throughout the course layout. Palmetto Golf Course equipment boasts lighted training facilities, including a practice putting green and driving range. Crandon Golf Academy also offers Golf lessons, clinics, and junior golf camps.
