About	Dr. Amy R. Brackeen earned her medical degree from the Texas A&M Health Sciences Center as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her residency in Transitional Medicine at Tulane, New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Amy R. Brackeen then moved to Lubbock to complete her internship in dermatology at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and to become Chief Dermatologist. She is a member of the American Mohs Surgery Society and has performed thousands of excisions and Mohs surgery. She is a strong advocate for the prevention and screening of skin cancer.
