About	Dr. John Sowell is a native of Huntsville who attended Grissom HS and completed his Birmingham-Southern College undergraduate studies with honors. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine with the AOA (Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary) award. He continued his medical science education at the University of Arkansas, where he completed his Transitional Stage and Residency in Dermatology.
