About	Dr. Erick Mafong is one of the leading dermatology service providers at the Dermatology and Laser Centre. He graduated from the University of California-San Diego with a medical degree and attended the University of California-Los Angeles college. Dr. Mafong completed his residency at the Medical Center of New York University, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in Laser Surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center in New York. His areas of expertise include micrographic Mohs, dermatological, laser and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Mafong is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology / Medicine at the School of Medicine at the University of California-San Diego, and a staff physician at the San Diego Veterans Administration Hospital. In addition to participating actively in laser and dermatological research, he enjoys speaking at both local and national conferences.
