| About | Mission Concepción is the south of the Spanish Colonial Missions of the 4th to 18th centuries. The Church was initially founded in 1716 and transferred to the San Antonio River area in 1731. It is a 200-year-old Franciscan mission that was originally built against French colonial claims at the very heart of the Mission Trail. The Church is a National Historic Landmark, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is home to an active Catholic community in San Antonio. Mission Concepción's leadership and staff are dedicated to serving the Church and society. You can visit one of their Eucharistic Liturgies on Sunday, where they assemble around the altar to worship and thank God in prayer and music. Mission Concepción conducts prayer and worship that gives you the feel and love of God through Jesus Christ through the efforts of their Catholic Christian community. |
