About	Queen of Angels Church is one of the oldest historical churches in Riverside. The church was founded in 1949 and is a community that grows in devotion, commitment, and service to their Lord. Queen of Angels Church began as a small parish called the Catholic Church of La Sierra. Today Masses for more than 2,100 registered families are being celebrated. In 1999, Queen of Angels Church observed its 50th Jubilee with the officing of Bishop Gerald Barnes. The 55,000 square foot building includes 130 staff of offices and workspace for the dioceses, two large banquet rooms holding weekly diocesan activities. Queen of Angels Church is a Community of Believers in Jesus, the Christ, called to impact Family, Neighborhood, and Society with the Gospel to fill people's lives with Hope.
