About	St. Mary's Cathedral was established in 1891 and is a historic downtown church and the seat of the Colorado Springs Diocese. The church has clerestory stained glass windows installed, were added to the apse's east and west walls. The church's exterior was significantly updated in 1961, resulting in the current entrance steps and ramps that were in place before 2003.
