About	Dr. Brenda Peart is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. She graduated from Marshall's Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Dr. Brenda finished her residency program in internal medicine through the Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program. She completed her cardiology fellowship at Marshall University. Dr. Brenda Peart began practice as the first female cardiologist in Southern Arizona. Her areas of particular interest include women's heart health and clinical research. Dr. Brenda is credentialed and trained to perform numerous complex procedures in the hospital environment. She has been the principal investigator or sub-investigator on more than 60 clinical research trials, including multi-center studies of cardiac pharmaceuticals and cardiac devices.
