| About | Dr. William W O'Neill is one of the internationally recognized interventional cardiologists. He graduated from Wayne State University, MI. He did his Residencies and Internships at Wayne State University and the University of Wisconsin. Then he finished his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease a the University of Michigan. He is a Medical Director of the Center for Structural Heart Disease. Dr. William pioneered the use of angioplasty for the treatment of heart attacks, which is currently the mainstay therapy throughout the world. He has written over 300 hundred peer-reviewed articles and abstracts and he has written multiple book chapters and edited one of the first textbooks in interventional cardiologists.
