About	Casey Mackintosh and Tara Mikhail started humble Bagel. Together, they envisioned an authentic, New York-style bagel shop in the heart of uptown, New Orleans. Humble Bagel cooks authentic, hand-rolled, kettle-boiled bagels fresh daily. They created the kitchen to be open so that everybody could see the process of boiling and baking fresh bagels. Their bagels are made of five ingredients: flour, water, steen’s cane syrup, salt, and yeast. At Humble Bagel, their bagels are made with high-quality components. They are made in-house daily, from scratch in tiny batches to ensure quality and avoid food waste.
