About | Jackfield Tile Museum is a museum which explores the history of British decorative industry. It houses the former works of Craven Dunnill and Company in a decorative tile factory building, which is now used in the manufacture tiles, particularly encaustic tiles. The museum is one of Shropshire's oldest known ceramic production centres, a tradition that dates back to the 16th century. Jackfield Tile Museum's collections contain William de Morgan and other historic tilers. It also provides tile painting workshop. |
