About	The National Glass Centre provides a range of enjoyable, hands-on workshops for all ages. Visitors can discover Sunderland's history, development, and legacy of glass making. This immersive show explores the history of glassmaking in the City from the 7th Century to the present day using inspiring personal stories from local people and striking audiovisual displays. The recently refurbished gallery spaces host the international program of exhibits, showcasing the work of leading contemporary glass and ceramic artists. They also provide glass blowing workshops throughout the day and with themed tours.
