About	Hat Works Museum is the only museum in the United Kingdom devoted to the hat industry, hats and headwear. It provides two floors of immersive displays take you on tour through the history of the once-prosperous hatting industry in Stockport. Hat Works Museum has recreated hat factory with some 20 completely restored Victorian-style machines and an excellent selection of over 400 hats from all over the world. Visitors can discover a centre of excellence, imagination and creativity. The Hat Works Museum also offers free access for children age under sixteen.
