About | Low Parks Museum tells the story of South Lanarkshire's life. It was opened to the public on 3 November 1967 with the Hamilton District Museum's name. Visitors can learn more through various exhibitions of local historical importance on local manufacturing and events. It is located inside two historic houses, both closely related over the years to the past of Hamilton and its Dukes. In 1993, a refurbishment project introduced new interconnecting buildings and an entrance to the merged museum. Low Parks Museum holds many exhibits on the history of the regiment. The museum contains over 1,000 medals and awards won by soldiers and officers. It also has many temporary exhibitions. Low Parks Museum featured with the cafe to enjoy your tour. |
