| About | Flag Fen is a heritage centre and archaeological park. It is one of the most significant bronze-age sites in Peterborough, Europe, welcoming 1000s of tourists to its heritage centre and archaeological park every year. The centre is comprised of more than 60,000 timbers in five very long rows. The archaeological work was initiated in 1982. Flag Fen is also part of the Museum Partnership with Greater Fens. It is also home to wildlife, including vast grasslands, historically maintained hedgerows and woodlands. Flag Fen provides wheelchair access and offers free parking. |
