About | The National Justice Museum is a building rooted in history based in Nottingham’s historic Lace Marke. There has been a court on this site since at least 1375 and jail since at least 1449. While visiting the museum, you can meet historical characters, explore the vast archive, engage in several immersive events and learn how law and justice relate to all lives. The National Justice Museum also provides unique curriculum-linked education for children and young adults in actual courtroom environments. The museum also has a variety of exclusive rooms available for hire in this prestigious Shire Hall, which now houses the Museum of Crime and Punishment. |
