About | The Dog Collar Museum exhibits canine neckwear that spans five centuries of doggie fashion and function. The exclusive collection has almost a hundred collars found by the medieval Irish scholar John Hunt and his wife, Gertrude. The collection in the museum was expanded by the Leeds Castle Foundation, which has parts covering history from medieval to Victorian times. The Dog Collar Museum has over 130 rare and valuable collars, including 30 collars. This rare collection, covering five centuries of canine chic, is viewed by more than 500,000 dog lovers a year, both domestic and national.
