About | National Waterways Museum tells the history of Gloucester Docks and nearby waterways. The new galleries in the museum display the beauty of the Severn River and the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal and the importance of Gloucester Docks. The Grade II listed grain warehouse has been renovated, expanded and remodelled. It is home to ancient dock houses, designer stores, trendy cafes, and fantastic modern museums, the most inland port in the country, making it the perfect place to have a family day out.
