AboutGlasgow Botanic Gardens is a place of beauty, tranquillity and contemplation. Initially, the gardens were used for concerts and other activities, and the gardens were transformed into the City of Glasgow Parks and Gardens in 1891. Glasgow Botanic Gardens contains many glasshouses, of which the Kibble Palace is the most notable. It has a wide variety of temperate and tropical flora. The chronological bed with plants are organized depending on the introduction to Scotland. The Kelvin River flows through the north side of the gardens and passes across Kelvingrove Park, a walkway connecting the two green spaces that provide an uninterrupted walking path.
