| About | Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum provide information for all those interested in the Aviation Museum and its activities. It is managed by the volunteers. It was established by the Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Community in 1977. It holds the collection of civil and military aircraft, aero engines, artefacts and a small but ever-expanding collection of memorabilia honouring airborne powers. Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum had the little room around the flight hut, and it moved into the three-storey watch tower (control tower) where it remains today. |
