| About | The Trolleybus Museum is home to the World's Largest Collection of Historic Trolleybuses. It occupies almost 8 acres of what used to be RAF Sandtoft. Some of the old taxiways that lead to the three runways of the old airfield form part of the quarter-mile trolleybus circuit, around which you can experience a ride on some historic trolleybuses on open days. The wide concrete area between the main trolleybus depot and the coffee/shop site used to be the floor of a huge aircraft hanger. It gives the entire family a fascinating day out. |
