About	The Midland Air Museum is a museum with an aeronautical collection. The museum was founded in 1967 by the Midland Aircraft Preservation Society (MAPS). The Midland Air Museum was first officially opened with 67 visitors. It became one of the first independent aviation museums to gain the prestigious registration status of the Government Museum and Galleries in 1990. The Midland Air Museum has numerous ties with the local community and educational institutions. Visitors will also get a gift from the museum, and parking for up to 100 vehicles is free of charge.
