About	First Steps is the first purpose-built Nursery in Irvine. June Reid is the manager of First Steps who has over 20 years of experience working in a child care environment as well as a degree in Childhood Practice. First Steps plans activities both outdoors and indoors for creative, heuristic, sensory and physical play, based on the age and stage of each child. They also plan and facilitate a range of innovative and exploratory activities which best suit the age and stage of development of each child. They provide a separate peaceful environment for your child to have the opportunity for a restful sleep. At First Steps, they pride themselves in offering the children in their care a healthy diet that takes into consideration their likes, dislikes, allergies etc. They offer a snack during the morning session and afternoon session in their 2-3 and 3-5 rooms, and a 2-course lunch between sessions for children who are with them for a full day.
