About	Smithy Heritage Centre has blacksmith's forge houses original fixtures & tools, and local history displays. Smithy Heritage Centre was transformed into a local history museum by Eccleston Parish Council in 1995. The Smithy Heritage Centre is dedicated to the history of Eccleston and the surrounding area and several artefacts, documents and images. Smithy Heritage Centre offers outreach sessions including living history, talks and object handling to schools, centres and societies at £30 for one-hour. This museum is a fantastic family-friendly free local history museum, open weekends from Easter to September. Car parking is available for visitors.
