About | Solihull Manor House is a timber-framed Manor House that was built about 1495 and is listed as Grade II. Formerly operated by the Greswolde family, it was recognized as the Lime Tree House in the 19th century. For several years it was the surgery of local doctors Ferdinand Page and his son, Ericson. A brewery bought the building in 1938, and in starting the second world war, it converted it into a public house. In the time of war, the house is used as a headquarters. Solihull Manor House is used as a community association and then as a social centre for adult education. |
