About	The 'Southport Theatre & Convention Centre' for professional conferences and exhibitions is a popular location. The arts centre is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. It has three magnificent function suites and has outstanding acoustics, viewing angles and comfortable seating. It was built in 1873-74 and initially had an assembly hall.
