| About | Restoration House is a unique survival of a city mansion. Restoration House is a fantastic and beautiful 19th-century mansion, and its Italian-style garden is impressive. The enormous amounts of paintings in one building situated in the heart of historic Rochester (England), the house takes its name from the stay of King Charles II on the eve of the Restoration. Restoration House has initially been two medieval buildings. The rooms have a historical ambience, with ancient surviving paint schemes and original floors, windows and are furnished with fine English furniture and portraits.
