About | Preston Cenotaph is a memorial to Preston soldiers who died in the First and Second World War. The monument was designed with sculptural work by Henry Alfred Pegram by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. The Preston's Roll of Honor lists 1,956 men who lost their lives in the First World War. Preston Cenotaph is located on the flag market in the heart of Preston. The Cenotaph is associated with the Roll of Honour housed next to the memorial in the Harris Museum. This project is an opportunity to explore the relationship between the memorial structure and the men listed there. |
