AboutThe Guildhall is a stunning Grade II star listed building. The Guildhall, designed by Edward William Godwin in the Gothic Revival style, was officially opened on 17 May 1864. Various paintings from the collection are on display at the Guildhall. The sculptor R.L. Bolton was assigned to design 14 statues of monarchs and other famous people constructed on the front elevation between the windows on the first floor. The building was designed in western style by A W Jeffrey and Matthew Holding in 1892, who created a frontage of 14 bays with arcades on the ground floor and windows above on the first floor. Provides a unique and memorable room packed with period features and Victorian Gothic architecture, the Guildhall is one of Northampton's Best Kept Secret' as to refer it's a treasurable antique craft. Guildhall is also a perfect venue for wedding ceremonies.
