About' Tyntesfield ' is a Gothic Revival house and manor near Wraxall, North Somerset. The Gothic Revival house is a Grade I listed building named after the Tynte baronets, who had owned estates in the area since about 1500. The National Trust bought their house in June 2002. Their house was opened to visitors, and more rooms were restored; they were added to the tour. Their exterior of Tyntesfield features naturalistic carvings of flora, fauna. The house is constructed of two types of Bath Stone and is highly picturesque, bristling with turrets and possessing an elaborate roof. Their terraced lawns have a spacious parkland filled with hundreds of trees and a glorious walled kitchen garden.
