| About | K9 Academy was established in 2006 to train dogs and enhance the experience of dog ownership. Joy Cook is the leading trainer of the K9 Academy. Joy has been involved in dog training for over thirty years. She has instructed training classes for almost twenty years and has been a member of the APDT since 1997. The K9 Academy's trainers believe better results are achieved when the training is fun and relaxed for both the handler and dog. The K9 Academy club is non-competitive, and the classes are primarily aimed at pet dogs using reward-based training techniques. They provide indoor and outdoor facilities. Their spacious indoor/outdoor courts are fully fitted with Astro-turf, designed for dog training. Their experienced trainers are members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Your dogs will be safe and secure in The K9 Academy venue, which is based in North Shields. |
