| About | St Peter's Catholic Church is one of the most spiritual Churches in West Lothian. The church was founded in 1982. The first parish priest, Father Joseph McMullan, arrived in the parish on 25 November 1982. The following year saw the church's opening on the Feast of the Chair of St Peter on 22 February 1983. St Peter's Catholic Church Silver Jubilee of the parish was celebrated in 2007, with the installation of a new stained glass window, asking the blessing of the Holy Spirit on the parish congregation. A field of groups and activities are offered in their parishes that aim to accompany their parishioners on their life journey, supporting their spiritual, pastoral and personal needs. St Peter's Catholic Church purpose-built centre comprises an oratory chapel for religious services, a multi-purpose hall for community use and a kitchen for social functions. |
